The Rwanda Advocacy Agenda of People Living with NCDs is designed as an advocacy resource to ensure that the priorities and lived experiences of people affected by NCDs directly inform Rwanda's national health policies.

Developed through a consultative process involving over 100 people living with NCDs, including nine focus group discussions across all regions of Rwanda, the Agenda emphasizes key advocacy areas: human rights & social justice, prevention, treatment, care and support, and meaningful involvement. Officially launched in November 2021 and supported by Rwanda’s Ministry of Health, the Agenda strengthens community-led advocacy, reinforcing Rwanda’s National Strategy and Costed Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of NCDs (2020-2025).
