Our Views, Our Voices Training: Applying an Equity Lens to NCD Advocacy

This Our Views, Our Voices training was delivered by NCD Alliance and Equal International to contextualise equity in NCD advocacy, highlight barriers in advancing health equity for NCDs, provide guidance on completing an NCD health equity assessment, and producing report.

As part of the launch of the Equity Conceptual Framework and Practical Guide (available in English and Spanish). This training was delivered to 10 national alliances, to increase their knowledge of NCD health equity concepts, determinants of health, and how data can be used to inform the basis of an NCD equity report. As grantee alliances thanks to NCDA's partnership with Bristol Myers Squibb, NCD Alliance Kenya and the Healthy India Alliance shared their plans to conduct a health equity assessment, and alliances also shared their experiences and challenges from their country context.
