Vietnam Advocacy Agenda of People Living with NCDs
The Vietnam Advocacy Agenda of People Living with NCDs identifies the shared needs, challenges, and priorities of people living with NCDs to promote their meaningful involvement in Vietnam’s NCD response.
Drawing from the Our Views, Our Voices initiative, this Agenda was developed through online consultations and community conversations with over 170 people living with NCDs between April and August 2020. Finalized through a series of consultative workshops, it highlights four key advocacy areas: Human Rights & Social Justice; Prevention; Treatment, Care, and Support; and Meaningful Involvement. The Agenda also emphasizes urgent priorities, such as regulating air pollution, strengthening prevention strategies, and ensuring equitable access to healthcare. It serves as a vital resource for policymakers, healthcare professionals, and civil society to enhance NCD prevention and control efforts in Vietnam.
