The NCD Alliance — Putting non-communicable diseases on the global agenda

In May 2009, The NCD Alliance launched the successful campaign for a United Nations High-Level Summit on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) at an event in Geneva titled Health and Development: Held back by Non-Communicable diseases.

The NCD Alliance would like to thank the many global and national partner organizations who assisted in making this campaign and the September 2011 Summit a historic success for NCDs.
